Sorry for not keeping up with the blog. My phone battery doesn't last too long and I need the charge I have for the gps. I'll give you a brief update and when I reach a computer ill give a more in depth account.
The second day was extremely hot and tiring.  I could only do about 60 miles with the heat.  It completely drains all your energy and the rolling hills take the rest.  Eventually I reached hidden acres campground.  The guy at the site next to me was an sniper in the marines for 32 years and had been living at the campsite for 2 months.  He had self proclaimed anger and drinking problems.  At first this was unsettling but later he.brought me some fire wood and candles.  That night it was stormy but the thunder was calming and the rain cooling.
Yesterday the temp never dropped below 97 until night fall.  I was going through water so quickly I had to stop every hour.  It was impossible to stay focused.  That night I got a campsite by  York and finally got some sleep.
Today was substantially better than the last two.  The cloud coverage kept the temps around 83 for most of the morning and afternoon.  I had plenty of energy all day but 2 flat tires took up a bit of my time; more than they should have.  A farmer named Rich let me use his air compressor then I talked with him for 15mins or so.  After that I headed towards gettysburgh.  Flat roads don't exist anymore; you're either going up or down.  It feels like its mostly up. One exponential climb was 3.5 miles, I also managed to hit it right as the sun came out around 4 and the temp rose to 95. I was told there's another steeper, longer one a few miles up the road ill have to take on tomorrow. I'm sure its just one of many.

All my pics are on my camera so ill have to upload them when I reach a computer.
